This site is aimed at the many people who feel they have an affinity with Thailand, Thai culture, food, people and whom would like to enjoy a part of Thailand that is not on the tourist trail....so if this is you then this site is for you

The Thai home stay is a place to enjoy the Northeastern culture, food and sights but without the tourist trade, bars, clubs, high rise buildings and foreigners. You will be able to enjoy the sight of mountains in the distance, village lakes and talking, eating and enjoying the company of local people. This is a world where time and days do not really figure in the locals lives except for when it is time to harvest their crops, a place where you cannot go past many homes without the invitation to gin kaao (which really means to eat rice) or eat with us, or hear the voices of people wishing you a good day, or having an invite to go and help a family on their farm, only to get there and find out you are eating and teaching them English.To see and hear and experience all this will give a new perception of Thailand to you as well as giving you great memories that will hopefully last a lifetime. What does seem strange is that the streets in the village seemed deserted by 8 or 9pm, however this is probably a good thing as everyone is up at the crack of dawn going about their business. Well that is my short interpretation of the Northeast and its people but only you can decide on if it is a place for you, so what are you waiting for
