A Liver For Lincoln Penny DriveLincoln is 8 mos. Old he was born with a medical Condition called Biliary Atresia. He is currently on the Liver Transplant List at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. We have Insurance but it will not cover 100 percent of Lincoln's medical bills. Lincoln also is currently on a few medications that our insurance does not cover at all, and there are co pays on the rest. Lincoln has been sick since birth and the expences are quickly adding up.Lincoln is the youngest child of our blended family a total of eight children. Once Lincoln has received his transplant we will be Cincinnati for 10-12 weeks. We Live about 3 hours from the Hospital so the cost for transportation and childcare for the other children while Lincoln will be recovering will truely be overwhelming. We have been in the hospital more than we have been home the last two months. Working is really hard right now because he needs so much extra care and we have been back and forth so much.
