No one and I mean no one want to look like everybody else. Spending hours at the beauty parlor to look good for a special occasion means that you want to stand out from the crowd. I, as a keen observer of the human mind, have come to the conclusion that the reason women are so enthusiastic about their wedding day is that they get to look different from everybody else. In fact, I do not think they would mind if we changed their grooms to be as long as they got to wear their wedding dress!
And it is indeed worth it. The sight of the bride walking down the aisle inspires an expression on the groom which completely validates the hell he had to go through, registering for wedding gifts, choosing cakes, flowers, furniture, floral patterns on napkins etc. Such is people’s desire to be different. So what if we could emulate a little bit of that wedding day magic into our everyday lives?
I am not talking about wearing your wedding dress to work- that is an accident waiting to happen.
I m talking more in the lines of something smaller, something that will get you noticed and will not get you handed the pink slip. A single accessory so unique that not only does it gets you noticed from the crowd, it goes with a look that impresses both the bold and the beautiful.

Are these bags really that unique? Well that is the meaning of vintage. Some people will tell you that it is the process of picking grapes but in the fashion world it is used to describe an antique item-something that is one of a kind.

A vintage handbag is something that you can get on the street quite cheap but so can everyone else. You are looking for a bag that was made by a branded designer house like Chanel and Luis Vuitton, sometime around the 1960’s and is now considered an antique collectible item. Although to some people it may not be appealing to buy a bag that is more than half a century old but….

These bags are from the best quality of leather there is and if your grandfather happened to buy a fashionable handbag for your grandmother, chances are that there is not a single sign to suggest that the bag survived two generations.
The reason that fake versions of these bags exist is that the original version cost a whole lot more. But when you think about the value that you are getting from this product, my advice is to buy one vintage Chanel handbag as opposed to buying a couple of dresses that you know you are not going to wear more than once- the type you think you would wear but when the occasion arrives you just go to the mall and buy another one.
